Referral Scheme – Terms & Conditions

1. Referral Scheme

The dns accountants referral scheme rewards eligible clients and contacts who introduce new clients to dns accountants.

The reward you receive depends on the value and type of business referred, as set out below.

2. Referral Rewards

Recurring client referrals

For eligible recurring clients, the referral reward is based on the client's annual fees (excluding VAT) and the sequence of eligible referrals within the relevant reward band.

Eligibility: Primarily recurring clients.

One-off business referrals

For eligible one-off business referrals with fees of £1,000 or more, a £75 fixed referral reward will apply.

The one-off referral reward is separate from the recurring client reward structure.

3. How Referral Rewards Are Calculated

Each eligible referral is assessed separately according to the relevant reward band.

For recurring referrals, the reward increases with the number of eligible referrals made within the applicable band.

For example:

• a first eligible referral with annual recurring fees of £1,000+ qualifies for a £100 reward.
• a subsequent eligible referral with annual recurring fees of £500–£999 qualifies for a £75 reward.
• a further eligible referral with annual recurring fees of £1,000+ qualifies for a £150 reward.

In other words, referrals are assessed according to the applicable reward band, and progress within one band does not affect the reward level applicable to another band.

4. Eligibility

To qualify for a referral reward:

• The person or business referred must be a new client to dns accountants.
• The referral must result in the referred client engaging dns accountants for eligible services.
• The referred client must meet the relevant fee and client-value criteria for the applicable reward band.
• The referral must be identifiable as having been made by the referrer.

dns accountants reserves the right to determine whether a referral meets the eligibility criteria.

5. Recurring Client Referrals

For the purposes of this scheme, recurring client referrals are primarily clients who engage dns accountants on an ongoing basis.

The applicable reward is determined by the annual recurring fees agreed with the new client, excluding VAT.

Where a client falls into a particular fee band, the reward applicable to that band will be used.

6. One-off Business Referrals

One-off business referrals with fees of £1,000 or more qualify for a £75 fixed referral reward.

One-off referrals are treated separately from recurring client referrals and do not affect the referral sequence or reward level for recurring client referrals.

7. Referral Sequence

The sequence of referrals is based on the order in which eligible referrals are received and accepted by dns accountants.

Where referrals fall into different reward bands, each band is assessed independently in accordance with the reward structure above.

8. Referral Assessment

dns accountants will assess each referral against the applicable scheme criteria before confirming the reward. A referral may not qualify where:

• The referred person or business is already an existing client of dns accountants.
• The referral does not result in the referred person or business becoming a client.
• The referred client does not meet the relevant fee criteria.
• dns accountants cannot reasonably establish the source or eligibility of the referral.
• The referral otherwise falls outside the scope of this scheme.

9. Changes to the Referral Scheme

dns accountants reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the referral scheme or amend the rewards and eligibility criteria at any time.

Any changes will apply to referrals made after the relevant changes take effect, unless otherwise stated.

10. General

By participating in the referral scheme, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.

All referral rewards are subject to these terms and conditions and dns accountants' confirmation that the relevant referral qualifies.
